What are freelancers looking for in the 2012 Budget?

The 2012 Budget seems to have more monikers than Sean “Diddy Dirty Money” Combs at this point. It’s been called “a Budget for growth”, ” a Budget for working people”, “a Budget for jobs”, “a Budget for families” – the list goes one. But what of the Budget for freelancers? We’ve been casting around for opinions on what freelancers and contractors would like to see, and the list seems to stack up something like this: Increased tax-free allowance Lower income tax More strident legislation to tackle late payments A reduction in employment legislation and costs Lower corporation tax In a quick Twitter straw poll, some UK freelancers chimed in with their thoughts -   @freelanceadvice Lower Corp.
